Persona 5

 

Persona 5 is without a doubt one of my favorite games for so many different reasons, ranging from the characters, plot, settings, colors, music and so much more. Persona 5 explores more serious tones/themes as well whilst still having this light hearted feel around it. For example the first mission in the game is to take down and expose a teacher at the school you attend  named Kamoshida who the main cast call 'the pervy teacher' since you come to understand he's been abusing the volleyball team as well as pursuing sexual relations with one of the games main characters Ann Takamaki and this type of narrative continues throughout the game as you expose these various peoples for their crimes and understand the corruption in Japan especially amongst the higher ranked profiles within the government system.

I love JRPG'S an Persona 5 made me fall in love with the genre even more despite the fact that its a turn based game which I feel like majority of gaming fans aren't exactly all for it does an excellent job putting a spin on it and making it extremely interactive, immersive and just downright enjoyable. Ranging from the games aesthetic, vibrant colors, captivating range of characters and various settings to explore with many more but I think I'd be here all day if I were to list them all, Persona 5 is just a game
that in my opinion has it all and creates a fantastic gaming experience that has you hooked only 10 minutes in by throwing you into the game and showing you the events that take place at a later stage in the game, which in Persona 5's case is about 70 hours in but considering how immersive the game is that time will come by casually as you engross yourself in the captivating story. I also enjoy how each character has their own story to tell which you can choose whether you want to learn more about by spending more time with them as the story progresses, you can tell just how hard the whole team worked on the game and its story, ensuring its properly polished and both fun and emotional. To make things even better Persona 5 Royal was released which just turns the base game from a 10/10 to a flat out masterpiece as they add even more depth to the story and make new, innovative additions to this game. This new version of the original is a lot more than just a remaster it feels like a whole new game but still keeps that same feeling from the base Persona 5 which I thought couldn't get any better than it already was. I would recommend this game to absolutely everyone and if you have the time I think you will thoroughly enjoy all that is has to offer.
